Sunday: Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with $1 scoops at Ice Cream Jubilee
all weekend: It’s your last chance to see Yayoi Kusama’s One with Eternity exhibit at the Hirshhorn before it closes on Sunday | The Broccoli City Festival is this weekend at RFK with Lil Uzi Vert and Brent Faiyaz headling
next week: The MLS All-Star Game is at Audi Field on Wednesday and there are events throughout the week, including a skills challenge on Tuesday and a concert at The Anthem on Monday.

my weekly best bite: the summer peach + goat cheese salad at Sweetgreen
Metrobar, the -as the name would suggest- Metro-themed bar, opened in 2021 with an out of commission train. But, up until last week, patrons couldn’t go inside the train. The train is now open, featuring a bar, tables, and an announcement from the voice of the Metro herself.
Here’s some Eater-approved options for patio dining, including the cozy Residents Café and Barca Pier along the water in Alexandria.

Could America’s best restroom be…an airport bathroom? BWI’s in contention for the award, the only airport to make the finals. The restrooms were built this spring and offer natural light and other modern features.
