my weekly best bite: Khachapuri from Compass Rose
Pop-up cult favorite sandwich spot Fight Club is setting down roots in Capitol Hill. I’m vegetarian, but the picture of that BLT looks awfully dreamy. For now, Fight Club is open on weekdays from 11-4, but is looking to expand its hours.
Farmers market season is back -here’s six new or revamped options in the area, including a Thursday NoMa market and a USDA-run market on Fridays on the Mall.
Penn Social will reopen next week with a new concept - coffee and concerts. The upstairs coffeeshop, Little Penn, will serve Compass Coffee and Astro Donuts while the downstairs area will feature live music.
