Saturday: Ace Hardware’s host Garden Parties with workshops and pop-up vendors (11 am) | Petworth PorchFest returns with 85 porches/yards hosting 190 performances (2-6 pm) | Union Market’s Dock 5 hosts the DC Wine Fest (12-10 pm, three sessions) | A full orchestra accompanies Batman at the Warner Theatre (8 pm) | Electronic music group M83 (best known for Midnight City) performs at the Anthem (8 pm)
As a bonus, in honor of National Park Week, entrance fees to all National Parks are waived on Saturday

Children’s National and its residents are in a legal battle regarding a “Unity Break” demonstration by residents in November 2022 which the hospital claims broke the residents’ “no strike clause" in their contract. The residents’ contract was recognized in December and provided a 12.5% salary increase, $5k annual mental health stipend, and the creation of a Patient Safety Committee.
