Peak bloom may be coming next week, with cherry blossoms at stage 3, the halfway point to peak bloom. Historically, peak bloom usually comes about 11 days after stage 3, meaning DC blossoms may peak by March 18.
Georgetown fired Patrick Ewing as the men’s basketball coach after a 7-25 season, including a brutal 2-18 conference record. Former NBA star and Georgetown alum Ewing went 75-109 in his six seasons as head coach.
