Saturday: Alamo Drafthouse combines 80s classic The Goonies with brunch bites (11 am) | The National Museum of Asian Art hosts a Lunar New Year Celebration with performances and crafts (12-4 pm) | The Fire and Ice Festival returns to The Wharf with fire twirlers, s’mores, and ice carvings (1-4 pm)

DC Restaurant Week continues through Sunday with hundreds of restaurants participating in the fixed $25 lunch/brunch and $40/$55 dinner menus. Washingtonian recommends these new restaurants and these staples of the food scene.
More restaurant openings kick off 2023, including a new Colada Shop location in Dupont and a brewery in Union Market (Crooked Run).
A sourdough bakery with a cult following, Manifest Bread, opened a brick and mortar spot in Riverdale Park.

As part of their bankruptcy bid, Regal Cinema’s parent company plans to close their Gallery Place theater. The centrally-located spot remains one of the only first-run movie options in DC and is an anchor tenant for the Capital One Arena.
The owners of L’Enfant Galerie, an antique store in Georgetown, are selling a home tucked above the shop for $6.7M. Washington Post features photos of the listing, which unsurprisingly, is packed with art.
